Wood Pellet Machine

A wood pellet machine (also called a wood pelletizer) is specialized equipment that compresses sawdust and other crushed biomass powders into biomass pellets. Our biomass pellet machine accommodates diverse biomass materials, such as wood, sawdust, wood chips, straw, rice husks, peanut shells, bamboo, grass, and sugarcane. The resulting biomass pellets function as a clean energy source, replacing conventional fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas. They are widely utilized in power plants, boilers, and heating systems, providing efficient solutions for environmental protection and sustainable development.

Wood pellet machine applies for various biomass material, such as wood, sawdust, wood chips, straw, peanut shells, bamboo, rice husk, sugarcane, grass, alfalfa, coffee husk, efb fiber etc.

During operation, the wood pellet machine allows biomass powder (produced by a wood crusher) or sawdust to vertically enter the machine through the feed inlet. As the compression roller rotates (maintaining contact with the die at a fixed height), the material is evenly distributed across the die cavity surface.

Under the roller's intense pressure, the powdered material is extruded through uniformly spaced holes on the die surface. Exposed to high pressure and temperature, the material undergoes physical or moderate chemical changes (varying by material type), gradually forming continuous cylindrical solids.

Finally, the solidified biomass cylinders are cut into pellets by a built-in cutter and discharged through the outlet, marking the completion of the wood pellet production process.

The equipment operates with low energy consumption and high productivity. A single unit requires only 80KW of power, consuming 80KW to produce 1-1.5 tons of pellets. This energy efficiency is 10%-20% higher than similar foreign products, significantly reducing energy costs.

Only 2-3 workers are needed for production and packaging with one unit, 3-4 workers for two units, and 5-6 workers for 3-4 units. The minimal labor intensity drastically cuts labor expenses while ensuring a high return on investment.
